CHANGES Music Summit Is Back In 2019

Melbourne's very own music summit and festival CHANGES is back for its second year, returning in a brand new home of the Abbotsford Convent. 

The event is a collaboration between The Push, Yarra City CouncilMusic Victoria, VMDO, APRA AMCOS and the Victorian music community, running over two days on July 3 and 4

Ahead of the full program announcement in June, the team behind CHANGES have announced the venues, live music curators and Music Passport target country that will shape this year's event.

Melbourne's flourishing music community will take centre stage across CHANGES' live music program, with a specific focus on the heart of Fitzroy, with local venues, including Laundry BarThe Evelyn HotelThe Old BarBar OpenThe Night CatLabour In VainThe Shady LadyThe Stone Hotel and Perseverance taking part.

The festival has also invited local labels, agencies and music organisations including Chapter Music, 123 Agency, Milk! Records, New World Artists, PBS, Triple R and a whole heap more to curate their own showcases for each night's live music festivities.

Experts, industry leaders and storytellers from as far afield as Canada, France, the UK and USA will feature on the lineup for CHANGES' summit. CHANGES' Music Passport program will once again welcome the one key target country to Melbourne, where they can connect with established local music businesses and forge significant networks. This year, tastemakers and groundbreakers from Brazil will bring ideas and game-changing conversations to CHANGES as part of the program. 

CHANGES 2019 Summit and Live Music Showcase Passes are on sale now, with full CHANGES program is unveiled on 3 June.
